Describing My Symbol

Basically this is the reason why is created this symbol. With global warming, the polar ice cap starts to melt and increases the water levels in the seas and oceans, which is represented by the bluish purplish color in the circle. With the increased water levels, most land areas are submerged in water as represented by the small island with the two palm trees.
Without enough trees to produce oxygen, supply will be limited as depicted by the pale blue rectangle surrounding the island and the two palm trees. And with only small land areas left, human must also start to think about living underwater, and this is represented by the goggle and oxygen tank.If nothing is done to reverse the current global warming immediately, once the limited oxygen in the tank runs out, the human race will be wiped off the surface of this beautiful earth.Let us all play our parts to be environmental friendly to reduce pollution to the atmosphere.

My Sketches

My References

Think this would be suitable because of the tree i wanted and a bright sun behind.

My final logo

This is my my final design. Added bits and pieces using the pen tool, charcoaled some of my outlines, & gave my so called earth some cute flappers and eyeballs. Hehe

Step 3

Basically this step was the step of me trying to make some 3D effects for my logo. I tried^^ . Using the pen tool and adding some shapes to make it look abit 3D.

Step 2

The second step was drawing the scuba goggles n the oxygen tank. I drew the goggles using free hand and the tank by combining the circle and rounded end ractangle tool. I drew the goggles using a thick brush(4 pt).

Step 1

This is the 1st step of my logo i used the circle tool to draw the circle added a palm tree i found from the internet and used the paint brush which i changed from normal brush to charcoal effect for the outlines. Later i tried matching the piece of small land with the stamp of the palm tree.
